二, Basic structure and working principle of Songjing rotary dehumidifiers
Core part of a rotary dehumidifier is a cellular runner. The runner is a compound of special ceramic fiber carrier and activated silica gel; both sides of the runner are divided by purpose-made sealing device into 2 zones---Treatment Area and Regenerative Area; when moist air goes through Treatment Area of the runner, water vapor of moist air is absorbed by activated silica gel, while dry air is sent to anther area by the fan; slowly rotating runner carries nearly saturated water vapor into Regenerative Area; in the Regenerative Area, water in the runner is desorbed by reversely injected high-temperature air, and discharged out of the room by the fan. In this way, the runner restores dehumidifying capability, and completes the regeneration process. As the runner rotates consistently, above dehumidification and regeneration go on and on, and the rotary dehumidifier maintains its continuous and stable dehumidifying state.

Songjing rotary dehumidifiers adopt efficient runners of Japanese SEIBU and NICHIAS joint-stock corporation; through patent technology and a kind of inorganic adhesive, ceramic fiber is processed into cellular shape, because all organic substances are removed by high-temperature burning. After polymerization reaction, the runner with cellular matrix integrates special silica gel (metal silicates). As a result, this runner is equipped with superior heat resistance, and applicable to any humidity conditions; it boasts strong dehumidifying capability, no loss of dehumidizer, avirulence and non-corrosiveness, which ensure safe and stable operation for a long time; since this runner adds hydrophilic groups and micro pores to absorb more water, under the same air conditions, its drying capability has been 20%~30% stronger than other silica gel runners.
In molecular sieve runner, special synthetic zeolite is put into ceramic fiber matrix as the dehumidizer, because zeolite has very small pores and very strong heat resistance. This runner is applicable to low dew-point circumstances, or to deal with gases with such volatile organic compounds as ethylene glycol, acetaldehyde and so on; maximum 220℃ regenerative air can be used in the runner, and polymerization reaction seldom takes place in all runners; through special chemical reactions, special synthetic zeolite is crystallized in ceramic fiber, and thus, single runner reaches -80℃ D.P. according to airflow conditions.
